Alef Group signs a cooperation agreement with Ruwad to support entrepreneurs

Alef Group, the leading real estate development company, and the developer of “Al Mamsha” and “Zero 6” Mall projects in Sharjah, has signed an agreement with the Sharjah Foundation to support entrepreneurial projects “Ruwad”, intending to support entrepreneurs within the entity.

Under this agreement, Alef Group will allocate private rental spaces for entrepreneurs under Ruwad Foundation, as well as discounts on preparation work, administrative and marketing fees, in addition to granting grace periods before the start of the lease.

His excellency Sultan Abdullah Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD”, said “This agreement with Alef Group falls within the framework of Ruwad’s strategy to expand its partners and also provide the best facilities and incentives for its entrepreneurial members. It is also in line with the foundation’s role in supporting the entrepreneurship sector, which is vital to Sharjah’s position as an important entrepreneurial center in the region”.

Al Suwaidi added that this agreement came to support talented individuals registered in Ruwad while creating a suitable environment for them through its project “Al Mamsha” to support and establish their future projects. “Ruwad plays an active role in supporting small and medium enterprises in Sharjah, by creating an incubator environment for projects and supporting entrepreneurs through training and qualifications”.

His excellency also added that this agreement confirms the cooperation between the two parties, and strengthens the common goal between them, which is embodied in placing Sharjah on the global map as a pioneering and vibrant center for entrepreneurship.

Issa Ataya, CEO of Alef Group, emphasized that supporting young people and enabling them to successfully pursue and succeed in their projects, is part of Alef Group’s social responsibility strategy. Alef Group is keen to play its role in community service and to lend a hand to the youth and emerging entrepreneurs.

Ataya continued, “We are very pleased to have this cooperation with Ruwad, which will enhance the services provided to entrepreneurs. The joining hands between all parties is imperative to providing new tools and innovative solutions for small and medium entrepreneurial projects, which will promote the sustainable economic development in Sharjah”.

It is worth mentioning that “Al Mamsha” project is characterized by its strategic and vital location, and includes several facilities and services which contribute to providing a high-level of a luxury living environment surrounded by a modern community atmosphere. Al Mamsha facilities include swimming pools, walking, and jogging paths, children’s play areas, and event centers.
