UAE-based developer Arada has completed and begun the handover process for 355 new homes in three apartment blocks at its AED24 billion ($6.5 billion) megaproject Aljada in Sharjah.
The completion of the final three buildings in the seven-building Areej Apartments complex means that the Sharjah developer has now handed over almost 900 units during 2021, said the developer.
Located in the first residential phase of Aljada, the Areej Apartments buildings contain a range of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartment buildings with an exceptional range of facilities.
Residents moving into the Areej Apartments will benefit from contemporary design and easy access to Madar at Aljada, the popular family entertainment hub that opened in February 2020.
CEO Ahmed Alkhoshaibi said: “We are grateful for the patience and trust of buyers in the Areej Apartments buildings as they prepare to move into their new homes. In this landmark year for Aljada, we are making good progress on our target of handing over 2,000 homes as this ambitious project steadily becomes Sharjah’s most vibrant and progressive community.”
The handover comes following Arada’s first-sales results, which saw the developer post an 85% increase in the value of property sold to AED1.15 billion, boosted by the ongoing strength of the Sharjah real estate market.
Spread over a 24 million sq ft area, Aljada is Sharjah’s largest ever project and a transformational destination for the emirate. It boasts numerous residential districts, as well as extensive retail, hospitality, entertainment, sporting, educational, healthcare components and a business park, all set within a green urban master plan.
