Sharjah Executive Council allots 8,100 land plots to-date in 2020

Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) has approved the second batch of land allotment to beneficiaries entitled to receive residential, commercial and industrial lands in the emirate.

The land allotment comes under the directives of HH Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

In an Arabic-language announcement, Sharjah Government Media Office quoted Eng. Khalid bin Butti Al Muhairi, head of the Department of Planning and Survey, said that the second batch includes 1,200 land plots in cities and regions of the emirate, featuring 660 residential, 362 industrial, and 178 commercial plots.

This bring the total number of land allotted in 2020 till date to 8,100.

Sharjah Executive Council, last year, approved the second batch of housing support beneficiaries for 2019, with the payment including 274 beneficiaries across two categories – 96 grants and 178 loans – with the total amount valued at $53.7m (AED197.6m).
